James Meehan has over a decade of real estate valuation experience exclusively providing USPAP-compliant appraisal reports for lending, reviews, purchase price negotiations, equitable distribution, eminent domain, tax assessment, estates, gift & inheritance tax purposes. Mr. Meehan has a vast experience in appraising a wide variety of property types including: retail, office, industrial, multi-family, hospitality, self-storage, mobile home parks and special purpose properties which include schools and churches. He also have extensive experience with new construction residential subdivisions, condominiums and apartments. Appraisals have been prepared for various clients including government agencies, attorneys, property owners & community, regional and national banks. Additionally, he has extensive experience in appraisal review for various lenders.
Mr. Meehan was recently appointed as an Adjunct Professor at Monmouth University instructing graduate and under graduate students within the Real Estate Valuation and Analysis course. He’s also the 2018 President of the Metro New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Meehan has been qualified as an expert witness before numerous County Tax Boards, commissioner hearings and before the Superior Court of New Jersey.
